Big Steps
I'm so grateful that Dustin and I got engaged a full two years before we intended to get married, so wedding planning hasn't been a huge priority right now. However, Dustin's parents have been visiting us this past week (Hi Yolande! Hi Mark!) so we decided to take the opportunity to look at some potential wedding venues with all the parents present. I sent some emails to a few locations Dustin and I had talked about, and set up an appointment to look at Log Haven first on Saturday. Log Haven was a bit of a pipe dream, I saw pictures of it before we even got to Utah and I fell in love, but I had been told by multiple people that it was really expensive. I wanted to see it anyways, just out of curiosity. We drove three miles up Millcreek Canyon to the restaurant and it was just gorgeous. It's tucked away in the canyon in the forest, with a waterfall and natural spring. I can only imagine how stunning it would look in the winter time. We took a tour, and the whole place...
