A Baker, A Florist, And A Seamstress
January has been an incredibly busy month in terms of wedding planning. The first Saturday of the month Ashley and I went to the bridal expo to gather information and talk to potential vendors. I forgot that they usually have food/cake samples, so we made the mistake of eating breakfast before going. They had a wedding fashion show for gowns, suits, and dresses and it was so cringey in the best way possible.You could tell it hadn't really been rehearsed ahead of time, some girls were stopping for too long to pose, others weren't at all so they would bump into each other. Ashley and I were only able to watch for 10, maybe 15 minutes before we had to leave. Overall it was a successful afternoon and we got a lot of good ideas. The next Saturday Dustin and I went wedding cake tasting and decided on a flavor, and have a pretty good idea which bakery we'll be using. We also have come to the conclusion that we want a naked cake with just our flowers for decoration - it's not...
